The Congregational Church, formerly an Independent Chapel, was built in approx 1872 and closed in 1975. It is now the senior Art Centre for Sutton Valence School. It is shown on the 1862-75, 1897-1900, 1907-23 1929-52 and current O/S maps. (1-4)

Congregational chapel in Broad Street. A chapel of 1794 was enlarged in 1821, but was replaced by the present chael in 1873. It is a Gothic building in Gothic style by Sulman and Rhodes, the wals faced with ragstone. There is sa short tower and spire above the entrance. Closed since 1975 and since used as a school. (5)
