Methodist Church (Wesleyan), High Street, Elham. The Wesleyan Methodist chapel of 1839 stands next to its predecessor of 1814. Both have fronts of three bays. The earlier chapel is of brick with a hipped slate roof, the later chapel with side walls of banded flint and brick, has a rendered pedimented front divided by pilasters.

Full Description

The Wesleyan Methodist Church was built in 1839 and is shown on the 1862-75, 1897-1900, 1907-23, 1929-52 and current O/S maps. It is still in use.
The Wesleyan Methodist chapel of 1839 stands next to its predecessor of 1814. Both have fronts of three bays. The earlier chapel is of brick with a hipped slate roof, the later chapel with side walls of banded flint and brick, has a rendered pedimented front divided by pilasters. (1)
