Findspot record TQ 67 SW 1459 - Worked flints discovered during a 1997 archaeological evaluation.

Summary

A borehole and test-pitting survey carried out in 1997 discovered a small collection of worked flints. 26 pieces of flint were recovered from borehole 11. These included 17 pieces of burnt unworked flint. The struck flint (mostly flakes) was dated to the mesolithic period on the basis of radio-carbon dating of associated organic material. Location accurate to 2m based on available information
