Monument record TR 02 NW 43 - Post Medieval features south of Snave

Summary

Excavation trench located 4 possible drainage ditches and 3 field drains, the latter dating to C16/17 through pottery evidence. A post-hole was also uncovered, containing a C16 sherd and fragments of post-medieval tile.

Full Description

Excavation trench at TR 0138 2953 located 4 possible drainage ditches and 3 field drains, the latter dating to C16/17 through pottery evidence. A post-hole was also uncovered, containing a C16 sherd and fragments of PM tile.(1)
