Full Description
North and west of a group of six chest tombs (TQ 54 NE 50) on graveyard boundary.
Inscriptions on south and west panels, illegible.
Similar in design to TQ 54 NE 52 but balusters have acanthus leaves. Possibly same maker.
Defects: Solid to touch and probably part rebuilt. Top stone damage. West end cracked. Plinth badly distorted and slipped on north side. Poinitng between panels and top coming out. Minor cracks between side panels and corner balusters. Some settlement of plinth.
Recommendations: remove all plant growth, stabilise plinth, repoint chest, check for rusting cramps. Weather broken top.(1)
