Monument record TQ 54 NE 58 - Chest Tomb in the Graveyard of SS Peter and Paul, Tonbridge

Summary

Part of a group of three chest tombs adjacent to a yew tree in the south east corner of the graveyard. In memory of William Simmons ? Decemebr 18 1819 and Frances Simmons wife who died Jan 6th 18? Aged 82 years. Description: Lower plinth base sandstone with limestone upper plinth supporting chest of cant plinth and simple square corner pilasters and panels. Top stone slightly pitched. Square edged with angles removed.
