Summary

The site of a Royal Observer Corps underground post for monitoring nuclear explosions and fallout is located just to the north of Pluckley. The monument was built in 1965 and abandoned in 1991. It is now locked and but remains in good condition both internally and externally.

Site of ROC underground post for monitoring nuclear explosions and fallout. Built in 1965 and abandoned in 1991. Locked and in externally good condition. Internally much remains.(1)
