Maritime record TQ 77 SE 1165 - Derelict barge, Hoo Fort

Summary

The remains of a post medieval or 20th century barge is situated at the south-east corner of Folly Point, Hoo Island. It is the northern of two barges situated in a breach in the sea defences. This can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007 and was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
