Summary

Two alignments of vertical posts, some reused railway tracks in a row, on the western shore of Hoo Island. The railway tracks seem to be used to hold back stone revetment at foot of sea wall. Identified during a 2004 coastal survey.

Full Description

Two alignments of vertical posts c. 60cm apart. Wooden posts run towards coastline, reused railway tracks used to form inner row. The railway tracks seem to be used to hold back stone revetment at foot of sea wall.(1)
