Full Description
Squared wooden piles in the foreshore up to 0.75m high, 0.2m x 0.2m. They may be part of groyne structures or a timber jetty? One line of four piles is parallel to river, and there are at least five more running into the river 4-5m to the south and a cluster of seven more piles with concrete to the north about 40m away. They may be part of the defences of the fort? (1)
