Summary

Three eroded wooden piles visible on the foreshore with stones between the piles by Yantlet Creek. Possible remains of a landing stage. Identified during an assessment of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology in 2005.

Full Description

Three eroded wooden piles, one on the higher part of foreshore, the others beside each other near the water. About 5m x 2m, the piles are 0.4m high, 0.08m-0.1m in diameter. Possibly the remains o a landing stage? Further squared wooden piles to the sides of thelanding stage piles, 0.7m high, .08m x 0.05m, possibly mooring posts? There are stones between the piles. (1)
