Full Description

A V-shaped wooden construction, approximately 20m x 15 m. Comprising rounded wooden stakes, partly in pairs, 1m-3m apart (it is likely there are stakes missing/buried in between). Stakes up to 0.3m high, and 0.08m in diameter. The structure is situated in a water-filled depression on the foreshore, much further out than any groyne remains. The tip of V points towards the north west, open base is facing the beach. Altogether there are 16 stakes visible in 14 places. Some stakes are partly under water, two on the north side in pairs, one of the east side which has split. There are two more solitary stakes towards the beach. There are traces of holes dug by baitdiggers which may have destroyed parts of the structure(1)
