Full Description
Romano-British pottery and other finds of the period were recovered, suggesting dumping on marshy ground of domestic refuse from nearby settlement (1)(2). Finds included Samian, possible terra nigra and coarsewares, probably dating to about AD 100, as well as bone, shell and building material. No signs of rolling nor of any cut feature (3).
