Summary
Medieval pottery sherds were found on the site of the now demolished Long, or Long House, Farm, Leysdown. One sherd was the base of a cooking pot of Sandy-shelly ware dated to about 1100 to 1225. Another sherd was the rim of a flanged dish or bowl dated to about 1475 to 1550.
