Summary
An anchorage in the mouth of the West Swale was recorded during a rapid assessment of North Kents Coastal zones by Wessex Archaeology on behalf of English Heritage. This feature marked on a chart of 1774 AD but it is uncertain whether the ground survey successfully located it.
