Maritime record TR 06 SW 1020 - Derelict boat, Faversham Creek
Summary
A large wooden wreck was found to be partly exposed on the bed of faversham Creek in 1997. The wreck is known locallly as the 'cannonball wreck' as iron cannon balls are said to have been retrieved from the site. The timbers were fastened with treenails.
