Rectilinear enclosure. Not marked on any mapping. Identified from aerial photographs during an assessment of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology. (See also TR 26 NE 1042) (1).

The cropmarks of an incomplete rectilinear ditched enclosure of uncertain date was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. The enclosure lies on a NW-SE axis, measures 36m by at least 58m and has traces of an iner second ditch to its northern side. This is visible on aerial photograph CUCAP BXA30 04-JUN-1976. Part of a second enclosure on a N-S axis overlies the southern edge of the first. This appears as parts of two sides with a single (NW) curved corner with a large oblong pit at its centre, both visible on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015 (2-3).
