Full Description

'Hard' marked on all OS editions (1-3) and photographs (4-7). The hard is just visible on the foreshore. It is a rectangular structure running down into the channel. It is constructed from wooden planks held by iron pins which act as a revetment holding in hard rubble. There is a great deal of chalk rubble and stone over the foreshore. There are further piles/stakes visible sticking out that may be further hard structure. (8)
