Feature interpreted as a possible ring ditch, saltern or bomb crater, Shorne Marshes No access during coastal survey in 2005, in Metropolitan Police firing range. (6)

A Second World War bomb crater visible as an earthwork at TQ 7057 7527 in Higham Marshes. This was first seen on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1947, and still visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1953. This feature was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. (7)
