Maritime record TQ 77 SE 1036 - Derelict barge/lighter, by Hoo Fort

Summary

The remains of a post medieval or 20th century barge is situated at the south-east corner of Folly Point, Hoo Island. It is the southern of two barges situated in a breach in the sea defences (see also 1542767). This can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007 and was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
