Summary

A breakwater was formerly located at Clifton Baths. It is marked on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd edition Ordnance Survey maps (c.1858-1922). A swimming pool is marked at this site on the 4th edition map (c.1931-1940). Identified during an assessment of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology.
