A Pier, by Cliffe Fort, marked on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map as 'Jetty' (c.1905-1922), and as a causeway on the 2nd and 3rd edition (c.1891-1922). The pier was seen to still be in use in 2005; there were aggregate conveyors running out to it.

Pier marked on the 3rd ed OS map (1). A modern steel pile pier in use, it has aggregate conveyors running out to it, in use at the time of the 2005 coastal survey (2)
