The remains of the post medieval Abbot's Court Wharf can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007 and 2010. The remains consist of a number of wooden stakes in the mud of Hoo Flats south-east of Abbot's Court at TQ 7979 7167. The Ordnance Survey shows a wharf here since at least 1862 although it was not marked as a wharf until 1896. A group of concrete posts can be seen circa 20m to the north at TQ 7979 7169. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-2)
