Full Description
With the kind permission of the Chief Technical Officer of Dartford District Council, two trial holes were sunk in the rear garden of No. 37 Orchard Street to a depth of over 1.5m. Several unstratified Roman and Medieval sherds were found, together with much rubbish of relatively modern date, including the concrete base of an Anderson Shelter.
