There is evidence of further kilns in the form of kiln debris and wasters along the foreshore, just below high water mark, to the N. as far as TQ 86686980 `B'. No evidence of pottery kilns was seen in the area of the published name. TQ 86686980 on the north edge of Milfordhope Marsh and along the foreshore to the south, deposits of kiln debris and wasters seen during surface observation by O.S. (authority 8) (1)
