Monument record TR 26 NE 1057 - Medieval/post medieval building remains, St. Nicholas at Wade parish
Summary
Tudor and Georgian tile, brick, church and chimney-pot fragments have all been found within the clay on the foreshore. Seen as indicative of the site of a building. Possibly part of Gore End village and perhaps destroyed by cliff fall or sea erosion. (Thought to be evidence of TR 26 NE 1003).
