Seen on 2000 E.A. airphoto (1-10) Large wooden vessel recorded in 2004. (11)
This post medieval or 20th century vessel can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007. It is one of 11 barges that form a near complete line along the eastern edge of Hoo Island, presumably as some form of sea defence. This barge is centred on TQ 7954 7062 and was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(12)
