This post medieval or 20th century vessel can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007. It is one of 11 barges that form a near complete line along the eastern edge of Hoo Island, presumably as some form of sea defence. This barge was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
