In the middle of the trench, a pit or a post-hole was recorded at height of 38.53m.The feature which was irregular in shape, was 0.21m deep and the fill contained fragments of daub from a wattle and daub stracture.[2]

In the Southern half of the trench, a large irregular pit, recorded at a height of 38.98m OD and measuring 1.28m E/W by 1.05m N/S and 0.30m deep, was recorded truncating natural gravel. The fill, consisted of sandy silt with flint pebbles.[2]

A possible post-hole [20] recorded in the northen half of the trench, was semi-cicular in shape and continued west beyond the limit of excavation. Feature approximately 0,60m deep, recorded in section at a height of 38.93m. The fill consisted of sandy silt with frequent flint pebbles and contained no finds [2]
