Full Description
The colluvial deposits seen in the test pit in Trench 4141TT were deeper, extending to 2.75m below the present ground surface, where Thanet sand(4105) was encountered.Three silty-and clay-sand colluvial deposits were recorded.Layer 4203 contained produced struck flint flakes of possible Mesolithic or Early neolithic date.[1]
