Summary

During the evalulation in 2000 the largest individual assemblage of animal bone was recovered, some possibly displaying butchery marks, was found within the silt and sand deposit. Location accurate to 2m based on available information

Full Description

Within trench 1, the top of the wood peat,110 had eroded and mixed contact with an overlying silt and sand deposit, 109, not recorded elswhere. Deposit 109, 0.1-0.15m thick, was probably of fluvial origin and represents a phase of active erosion into the surface of the peat. (1)
