Full Description
A single sherd of pottery of possible Bronze age date. Within trench 1, the top of the wood peat,110 had eroded and mixed contact with an overlying silt and sand deposit, 109, not recorded elswhere. Deposit 109, 0.1-0.15m thick, was probably of fluvial origin and represents a phase of active erosion into the surface of the peat. (1)
