Full Description
Ebbesfleet ware bowl was recovered from the surface layer 1119. A radiocarbon determination has been undertaken on a sample of wood from this deposit, giving a data of 3690 - 3360 cal BC at 95.4% confidence. This would appear to represent a relatively drv land surface as interpreted in Trench 8 although the context of deposition of the pot appears without special attention.
Location accurate to 100m based on available information.
