Summary
A brick pier located at the northern end of Craylands/Barnfield Pit, close to the tram tunnel. It of unknown function recorded during a walk over survey in 2004 (location accurate to the nearest 5m based on available information)

Full Description
At the northern end of Craylands Gorge, immediately to the south west of the tram tunnel entrance leading into Barnfield Pit and to the west of the tramline there is a pier made of hand made (?) bricks laid principally as headers with alternating stretchers at the corners. Random courses laid as stretchers. 3" angle iron bracket bolted to front of pier. There are angle iron brackeks fixed to its western face [1]
