Full Description

In 2005 an archaeological evaluation was carried out in advance of the construction of Dartford Football Ground and ancillary development. A group of postholes were found in Trench 40 which may have been dated to the late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age. Only a single sherd of pottery was found. It is possible that some of the undated features on the site date to this period [1]
