Full Description
Skeleton [622] situated at the base of a grave cut, lying in a crouched position with the face down and turned slightly towards the west. The right arm was flexed with the wrist up near the right knee with the hand pointing towards the north. The left arm was flexed towards the north of the knee, laying flat flat in the grave over the left elbow with the hand pointing north. The right leg was folded up to the right hand and the left leg was folded up next to the right leg. The feet were pointing south and somewhat concreted in chalk. The skeleton was identified as a male aged between 25 - 35 and about 1.70m in height. Osteoarthritis was recorded in the left wrist of the skeleton, and attrition was present on the incisors and canines, suggestive of an edge-toedge bite. [1]
