Full Description
A penanular ring ditch measuring c.22m in internal diameter, with associated finds in the fill of the ditch dating to the Early Bronze Age. The fill appeared to show an amount of material from the center of the ring, as if from a mound. This feature may therefore represent a former Early Bronze Age barrow. It is suggested that this ditch was filled relatively quickly as no later pottery was recovered in these fills. (1-2)
