Three WWII bomb craters visible on vertical aerial photographs from 1942 [1] in land now (2009) occupied by Sturry Road Community Park. Extensive areas of upcast from each crater also visible on photographs. It is unclear whether or not the craters remains as depressions as later photographs show the site as covered by scrub and trees [2].

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [3].
