Eleven sub-circular cut features, likely to be pits, located on the headland at North Foreland, with a possible date range from the Bronze Age to Iron Age periods. They are visible as cropmarks on modern aerial photographs taken in 1983 [1].

The dimensions of the eleven pits range in diameter from 1.5m to 4.5m.

The pit cluster is closely located to the western extent of a monument comprising a bank flanked on either side by a ditch (MWX43002), and approximately 50m to the north-west of another pit feature also seen as a cropmark (Mke9115). The pit cluster is possibly related to both of these features.

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [2].
