Second World War military structure (possible pillbox) located south of Joss Bay and mapped from aerial photographs taken in May 1942 [1].

The structure is first visible in January 1941 [2] through to April 1946 [3]. A building is still visible on aerial photographs taken by the Channel Coastal Observatory in 2008 [4], but the shape has changed slightly and so the building may have been re-built or altered at some point in between.

The structure measures 6m by 3.5m and is located less than 3m from the cliff edge.
