Full Description

Second World War military structure located close to Broadstairs Harbour in Victoria Gardens. It is first visible, and has been mapped from, aerial photographs taken in January 1941 [1] and is gone by April 1946 [2]. The structure measures 4.3m by 3.4m, and is a possible pillbox.

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [3].

A Second World War pillbox is visible as an extant structure on RAF/HLA/347/3 10 30-MAY-1942. (4)
