An irregular diffuse cropmark is visible on 1940s RAF aerial photography [1]. The feature measures 70m (WNW-ESE) x 85m (NNE-SSW). It is interpreted as the plough-levelled remains of a saltmound of probable medieval date. It was not visible on the Ordnance Survey 1877 edition [2].
