Full Description
WWII bomb crater, St Augustine's Golf Course, Pegwell Bay, first visible in military aerial photographs taken in 1944 [1].
The oval crater measures 10.5m by 8.4m and is first visible in April 1944 [1], later becoming backfilled by April 1950 [2]. The area is still a golf course and so earthwork remains of the crater and upcast may still exist.
