Full Description
WWII bomb crater, Minster Marshes, Pegwell Bay, first visible on military aerial photographs taken in January 1945 [1].
The sub-circular crater measures 15.4m by 13m and is first visible in January 1945 [1]. It was mapped from photographs taken in January 1946 [2] and is gone by April 1950 [3]. The area is still used for agriculture and so earthwork remains of the crater may still exist.
