Full Description
WWII structural feature, a possible gun pit, Shell Ness, Pegwell Bay, visible in military aerial photographs taken in 1946.
The open square structure appears to be brick built and has an entrance on the SE facing wall and measures 7.7m squared. The structure was first visible and was mapped from aerial photographs taken in January 1946 [1] and is gone by April 1950 [2].
