Full Description
WWII bomb crater, located within an Electrical Sub Station on Prince's Golf Links, Sandwich Bay and visible on military aerial photographs taken in 1946 [1].
The sub-circular crater has a diameter of 5m and is surrounded with up cast. It is first visible in January 1946 [1] and has been mapped from photographs taken later that month [2]. It is still visible in April 1950 [3] and is gone by June 1980 [4].
The position of the craters may be slightly inaccurate due to difficulties rectifying the photographs.
