Full Description

A boundary bank is visible as an earthwork on 1940s RAF vertical aerial photographs [1].
The bank is discontinuous and follows a generally sinuous W-E alignment, running for a total of 280m; there is what appears to be an original gap in the bank 75m from its western end and it is cut through by a field boundary 115m from its eastern end. The bank appears to have been plough-levelled as recent aerial photography shows it as a cropmark [2]. The feature lies 50m east of the salting and moated site at Docker Hill (TR 26 SE 15, see Related Monuments) and may be related this complex. It is also likely that the bank is related to medieval or post-medieval land reclamation in the Wantsum Channel.

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [3].
