Full Description
Bomb crater visible in the intertidal zone of Pegwell Bay and mapped from military aerial photographs.
The circular bomb crater measures 4m in diameter and was first visible and has been mapped from aerial photographs taken in January 1942 [1]. It is visible on military photographs taken throughout the year and is still visible as a circular ditch on the Channel Coastal Observatory's aerial photography from May 2008 [2].
