Full Description
Open walled WWII structure on the eastern bank of the River Stour, square in plan and measuring around 8.5m squared with c.1.5m thick walls. This feature may be the footings for a pillbox that was never finished.
The feature is first visible in April 1944 [1] and has been mapped from a military aerial photograph taken in January 1946 [2]. This area has been redeveloped over by March 2003 [3].
