Full Description
WWII barbed wire located on the sand dunes east of Sandwich and mapped from military aerial photographs taken in January 1945 [1]. The enclosure measures around 750m and another length of barbed wire extends west for 300m from its northern edge. This military feature was first visible in January 1945 [1] and has been removed by January 1946 [2].
The position of this feature may be slightly inaccurate due to difficulties rectifying the photographs.
