Full Description
Three WWII bomb craters visible as earthworks, situated in the Lydden Valley, east of Worth, and mapped from military aerial photographs taken in September 1946 [1]. The craters are first visible in April 1946 [2] and are levelled by June 1980 [3]. The sub-circular features measure 7.7m, 7m and 13m long, and are aligned in a NW-SE position over a distance of 245m. Upcast is only visible on the SE crater.
